Important Notice for New Models: Protect Yourself from Impostors

At ECMD Creative Talent Academy & Management, your safety is our top priority. We want to ensure that you are aware of potential scams and fraudulent activities that may come your way. Please take note of the following guidelines to safeguard yourself:

1. Official Social Media Accounts:

Our official Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, & Tiktok accounts all have the handle: @ecmdmanagement We also have another Facebook page: @ecmdstars We actively communicate through all our social media platforms and you are welcome to DM (Direct Message) us if you have any questions. Our team may contact you through our official social media accounts, and guide you through the application processes. But it is important to note that official recruitment will be done through an online meeting with one of our talent representatives through our website: www.ecmd.ca

2. Be Wary of Contact

If you receive messages offering representation under ECMD management in exchange for money, it is likely a scam. ECMD never requests payment for automatic approval or acceptance under our management. You must complete the official application process and meet with one of our talent representatives before you can decide to join ECMD Management.

3. Affiliate Star Seekers

At ECMD Management, we work with affiliate star seekers to help identify and discover potential models. These affiliates are authorized to guide you to our official social media accounts and website, and they can provide their unique affiliate code to facilitate your application process. Please be advised that these affiliates do not have the authority to request any form of payment or monetary compensation on behalf of ECMD Management. To verify if the person contacting you is a legitimate member of the ECMD Team, please reach out to us on our official social media accounts. We will confirm their identity for you.

4. Protect Your Privacy:

We never ask for nude, lingerie, or implied nude photographs. If you are asked for these types of images, it is a scam. ECMD has no involvement in or connection with such requests. For any questions or concerns, please reach out to us via our official social media accounts. Stay vigilant and protect yourself when using online platforms.

DO YOU DO WAlK-INS?

ECMD do not cater walk-ins at the moment. We have fully digitalized our system to accommodate online applications for your convenience and efficiency so that you can send in applications anytime & from anywhere.

IS THERE A HEIGHT REQUIREMENT?

No height requirement is required to be an ECMD star.

DO YOU SCOUT MODELS VIA SOCIAL MEDIA?

YES - We do reach out to potential models via our official social media Instagram and Facebook accounts. However, the application and selection process is conducted strictly through our official website to ensure authenticity and security.

IS THERE AN EMAIL ADDRESS I CAN SEND MY PICTURES/CV TO?

For the application process, we accept submissions through the online application form on our website. However, if you encounter any issues, please email your portfolio to us at ecmdmanagement@gmail.com.

DO I NEED PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHS?

No- You do not need professional photos for your application. All application images must be clear, with a good resolution in a jpg format. We recommend a Head Shot, Side Shot and Full Length, plus a make-up free ‘polaroid’/Selfie.

IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION?

YES - We accept applicants 11 yrs old and up. Minor applicants must be represented by their parent or guardian during the whole application process

HOW LONG DOES APPLICATION TAKE?

Application reviews may take between 1 – 2 weeks to be assessed. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, if our team is not able to respond automatically to your messages. Please be patient and we will reach out as soon as we can.
